Elizabeth Zachem Woodward, CPA/CFF, CFE, leads the forensic accounting team at Dean Dorton in Kentucky. Ms. Woodward began her career as a financial statement auditor, but has been providing forensic services for over 20 years. She is the chair of the AICPA FLS Committee and chaired the AICPA FVS Fraud Task Force from 2016 until Spring 2020. Ms. Woodward is a past president of the Kentucky Society of CPAs, and frequently teaches professional ethics for accountants throughout the state and for her firm of more than 200 professionals. Ms. Woodward has testified in federal, district, and bankruptcy courts, as well as at arbitration. She has served in fiduciary roles, including Fee Examiner, Receiver, Chief Restructuring Officer, and Liquidating Trustee.  Elizabeth has served as an Ethics Monitor/Independent Monitor reporting to two branches of the federal government. Elizabeth currently serves as a SubChapter V Bankruptcy Trustee in the Eastern and Western District of Kentucky Bankruptcy Courts.
