Rob Beltch is the Chief Audit Executive for Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and Health Plan. Beltch reports functionally to the Audit and Compliance Committee of the Board of Directors and administratively to the Chief Financial Officer. Through advocacy of three mantras (Right Work, Partnership, and Add Value), he oversees the independent assurance function for the organization. This responsibility spans across seven Kaiser operation regions, thirtyeight medical centers, approximately 50,000 nurses, and more than 10.5 million members. Beltch joined Kaiser Permanente in 2002. Prior to moving to Internal Audit Services in 2014, Beltch held several leadership roles in finance. Most recently, he was the Vice President of Finance Operations in Southern California and responsible for the finance function of one of Kaiser Permanente's largest regions. Beltch began his Kaiser tenure in Patient Billing Services before being asked to create and lead the national revenue cycle function as Vice President of National Revenue Cycle. Beltch began his career as a senior auditor at McGladry & Hendrickson (a CPA firm, now McGladry LLP) in South Dakota. He earned his CPA while in this role before joining The Prudential Insurance Company of America's internal audit team. Beltch held a variety of roles during his thirteen years at Prudential including claims processing, member services, and the majority of his Prudential tenure in Internal Audit. Immediately prior to joining Kaiser, Beltch was the CFO of the HealthNet California division. At that time, HealthNet covered 2.2M members and Beltch's role covered finance, budgeting, forecasting, billing and procurement & sourcing. Beltch is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting at the University of South Dakota.
