Larry is the founder and currently Director of Taxes at Carlton & Duran, CPAs, P. C. in Bedford, MA. Larry is responsible for all tax compliance and planning matters in the firm.
Larry is active with the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants as a member of the Federal Tax Committee (past chairman), Professional Ethics Committee (past chairman), and past Vice President and member of the Society Board of Directors.
Larry is a volunteer with the AICPA Tax Division and is currently a member of the Individual and Self-Employed Tax TRP. He is a former member of the Tax Executive Committee, Tax Practice Responsibilities Committee, IRS Practice and Procedure Committee, Registration of Tax Preparers Task Force (chair) and the SSTS 9 Task Force.
Carlton frequently lectures on tax topics and has authored a number of tax articles. He is a summa cum laude graduate of Boston University and received his Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley College.
