Eddie Gershman is the Washington National Tax technical leader for the Individual Income Tax Competency of Deloitte Tax. In addition to this role Eddie continues to serve clients, bringing more than 25 years of experience addressing the tax and financial planning needs of ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family groups and family offices.
Eddie earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Indiana University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Illinois CPA Society.
Eddie currently serves as the Finance Committee Chair on the Board of Directors at Near North Montessori School in Chicago, one of the largest and oldest private Montessori schools in the country. He also previously served in the roles of President and Vice President of the Board. In addition, Eddie serves on the Board of Directors of the Center for Economic Progress, and on the Planned Giving Committee for the Steppenwolf Theater.
