Kevin McBride

Vice President, Global Accounting and Financial Services Controller, Intel

Kevin is responsible for leading Intel’s accounting organization. In this role, Kevin is responsible for overseeing Intel’s global accounting activities, accounting shared service centers and M&A accounting.

Kevin joined Intel in 2000 as an accounting policy manager. In 2005, he completed a two year fellowship at the Financial Accounting Standards Board. Kevin led and managed Intel’s technical accounting activities through 2009. In that role, Kevin was responsible for providing technical consultations on a wide range of matters including acquisitions and divestitures, employee benefits, asset impairments, licenses, and consolidations. Kevin also led and managed Intel’s treasury accounting and external reporting organizations though 2013. In this role, Kevin was responsible for overseeing Intel’s treasury accounting activities, including technical matters related to Intel’s hedging programs, lending and borrowing activities, stock repurchases, and private company investment portfolio. Kevin was also responsible for overseeing Intel’s process for developing, certifying and filing SEC reports. Prior to joining Intel, he was an audit manager at KPMG in Portland, Oregon.

Kevin is a member of Financial Executives International’s (FEI) Committee on Finance & Information Technology. Kevin was a member of the Center for Audit Quality’s SEC Regulations Committee from 2011-13, and an alternate member of FEI’s Committee on Corporate Reporting. Kevin is a Certified Public Accountant in Oregon and graduated with honors from Oregon State University with a B.A. in accounting.
