Karen Galivan CPA

Karen has been in public practice since 1998 providing tax, accounting and consulting services to mid-sized businesses and closely-held corporations in various industries including industrial and commercial manufacturing and distribution, private equity and other service industries. Karen assists her clients in federal, state and foreign tax compliance, planning, and research as well as special projects such as accounting method changes. She is also one of RSM’s economic ambassadors and the regional tax lead specialist for tangible asset and repairs regulations.

As one of the local leaders for the women’s employee network group, STAR, she works passionately developing a culture that sponsors and advances women at all stages of their careers. She also is the liasion with the Girls Scouts of America and coordinator of the “My Dream Life” event; teaching young girls financial literacy, where they learn about careers, salaries and money management.
