Iris Lehrich is the program manager of the IRS’s Internal Management Documents program, which includes oversight of the process and standards of the Internal Revenue Manual, Delegations of Authorities, Policy Statements, and Interim Guidance.

Her prior positions include Tax Technician in Garden City, NY, Revenue Agent in Brooklyn, NY, National Office Program Analyst in the Taxpayer Advocate Service and details to Treasury, Office of Treasury Orders and Directives and the Senate Finance Committee. She was recently awarded a Treasury Gears in Government Award for her work on automating the Internal Revenue Manual administrative review and approval process prior to publication.

Iris is a proud civil servant and single mother by choice in the Washington, DC metro area.
