footnotes with a focus on the ultimate users. Get new ideas, best practices and
examples for a fresh approach to footnotes, and keep them relevant and useful.
• Common items missed in disclosure with a focus on fair value, debt
instruments, swaps and net asset matters
• Considering when a line item or disclosure is immaterial and thus not needed
• Best practices with general footnotes to improve logic, relevance and usefulness
• Balance technical requirements with materiality in disclosures
