Defined Benefit Plans - Everything Except the Actuary Report

This session provides guidance on audit procedures and accounting issues for defined benefit plans with the exception of the actuary report. Attendees will review the auditing and accounting procedures in the areas of contributions, distributions, participant data, risk assessment and planning. Attendees will also understand funding policies, derisking trends, PBGC, term-vested windows and lump-sum payments to reduce benefit obligations.
