This session will focus on the changing risk landscape and associated challenges facing the credit union system relating to cybersecurity. NCUA staff will discuss the current threat environment, changing market dynamics and NCUA’s approach toward supervising cyber-risks in the credit union system. Session objectives include:

• Gain insight into the changing technology environment and challenges affecting the financial services marketplace, including credit unions
• Understand the emerging risks, including a focus on more relevant risks affecting credit unions and community banks
• Learn about the FFIEC Cybersecurity Assessment Tool and how it will help shape the risk management strategies with NCUA and the credit union industry
