Corporate culture refers to the beliefs and behaviors that determine how a company’s employees and management interact. Often, corporate culture is implied, not expressly defined, and develops organically over time from the cumulative traits of the people the company hires. This session will dive into what the corporate culture can be like in the accounting profession from an ethnic minority perspective, and our professionals will share tips and advice on how to successfully navigate it.

This will be a presentation discussing a variety of techniques and skills for recognizing, responding, and moving beyond micro-aggressive behavior in the workplace, with particular attention paid to racially and culturally insensitive implicit biases.
