During this session focused on conference collaborations, hear from a panel of state learning collaborators on how they choose content, how they implement, share (or not share) data and most importantly deliver value to their members.

This track will give organizations the tools they need for understanding policymakers and media the need for clear and concise information from issue experts, like CPAs. Attendees will learn best practices and what will help their team better communicate with those in states who make laws and regulation as well as cover policy issues pertinent to the profession. Dynamic speakers will give real life examples of how they have worked with organizations to better their communication skills with policymakers and media contacts.

Engagement is the secret sauce of an association. It is how we provide value to members, and it's how we execute our mission. Re-engaging members post-pandemic is especially urgent. When member engagement is working well, it drives renewal and mission. Continuously evaluating and refreshing how we engage members is the critical success factor for thriving associations.

This session will explore how some of the most innovative associations have transformed their member engagement with new and compelling experiences, content, products, and interactions with other members.

Continuing the pipeline conversation. This session aims to cover ways we can encourage accounting majors to pursue those three precious letters, CPA. From updating our messaging to ensure students see the value of the CPA credential, to hearing how student ambassadors/champions can be used to further our efforts, we will explore effective campus initiatives.

The world has changed, and we need to adapt. Using the proper strategy will help us get the most from minimal resources through increased productivity and operational efficiency while avoiding employee burn-out. Join policy experts that are leaders in multi-state advocacy to learn what the implications are of this new political backdrop and pertinent issue that aren’t necessarily part of the CPA practice. These experts work with a wide variety of clients in different states and can answer why these issues matter and what the implications are to CPAs. They will also give a national perspective of what will come next down the pipe, whether it is continued focus on social issues or something not yet deliberated in many state capitols.
