Tricia A. Van Vliet, CPA Tricia is a Manager on the Engagement & Learning Innovation team of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants where she leads the development of its Employee Benefit Plan portfolio of products. She had previously spent three years on the Association's Peer Review team working closely with the Standards and Oversight Task Forces of the Peer Review Board. Prior to joining the AICPA in 2015, Tricia spent over 20 years in public accounting, with more than half of that time as a director in the national assurance department of a large firm focusing on audit quality initiatives. Her career journey has provided the opportunity to closely engage with firms of all sizes and she maintains a laser focus on the needs of every practitioner. Tricia considers herself a pioneer in the area of flexible and remote working arrangements for CPAs, dating back to 1996. Since June 2017, she has used various life experiences to study, learn and practice techniques to foster personal and professional development. She is passionate about complete care that is critical to maintaining a healthy mind, body and soul (personally and as a busy CPA).
