Timothy Cummins, CPA, CCIFP leads Aronson LLC’s Construction Industry Services Group. He joined the firm in 1982 and has spent over 20 years in the industry. Tim's clients include construction professionals, including general contractors and subcontractors, real estate developers, and property owners.
Tim specializes in general accounting, tax, litigation support, strategic planning, and business consulting services. As an expert in the field, he has made various presentations to local and national construction trade associations on accounting, tax, and management issues. Tim has also provided numerous articles for national construction industry publications on issues affecting the industry and is a contributing author and editor of Aronson’s Construction Report blog for construction contractors and specialty subcontractors. He is also the author of the Treasury Management and Management Reporting chapters of the Construction Controller's Manual.
Tim is an active member of the Construction Financial Management Association, Associated General Contractors, American Subcontractors Association of D.C., National Utility Contractors of D.C., and he serves on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Metropolitan Washington. He currently serves as a member of the Aronson LLC Board of Directors. Tim earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Maryland.
