Susan Hannigan

Susan J. Hannigan, CPA is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Northeast Credit Union in Portsmouth, NH with assets of $1.9 billion. Ms. Hannigan assumed her current position with NECU Union in January 2021. Prior to that Ms. Hannigan served as the SVP/CFO of a $1.3 billion state-chartered credit union. She provides organizational leadership and direction and formulates corporate strategies and policies. Prior to joining the credit union industry, she had over thirty years' experience at Wolf & Company, P.C., a regional public accounting firm in Boston, Massachusetts. At Wolf she worked in the assurance services group with a concentration in financial institutions providing audit and consulting services. Ms. Hannigan has serves as a member of the AICPA - DIEP and served as a member of the Transition Resource Group (TRG) for FASB's CECL project. She is a graduate of Stonehill College with a BS in Business Administration.
