Kristin is a Signing Director in CLA's Nonprofit Group, bringing over 25 years of experience working exclusively with nonprofit organizations. Her extensive experience includes auditing organizations that require single audits, social services organizations, foundations, low-income tax credit and HUD housing projects, community action programs, religious organizations, associations, and those with new market tax credits. Kristin has also worked with tax-exempt organizations, filing their federal and state returns, and developing and training new associates on tax compliance issues.
Kristin has been involved with the firm-wide assurance group as a designated quality reviewer and has taken part in planning and instructing single audit training courses and general not-for-profit topics within the firm and the community. She has also participated in CLA's firm-wide instructor academy.
Kristin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Management from the College of St. Benedict, Minnesota.
In her community, Kristin is an Advisory Board member for What Would Bri Do and a volunteer instructor for Junior Achievement. She has previously served as a Board Member and Treasurer for United Cerebral Palsy of Central MN, a Board Member and Secretary of Sartell JO Volleyball, and a Treasurer for a local Girl Scout troop.
