Elizabeth S Gantnier CPA CGMA

Liz Gantnier serves as a Regional Accounting and Audit Director for various offices in the FORVIS footprint, providing A&A services to both privately held and publicly traded companies. In this role she provides support to engagement teams on technical accounting and auditing issues, completes second-level reviews, communicates new developments and monitors the quality of assurance services provided. As a partner in FORVIS’ Professional Standards Group, Liz brings more than 30 years of experience to the table. She has focused on statistical audits and has won the AICPA Outstanding Discussion Leader Award in multiple years.

In 2024, Forbes named Liz to its inaugural list of America’s Top 200 CPA’s. Liz is currently chair of the National Peer Review Committee, a past member of the Peer Review Board and past Chairperson of their Standards Task Force, past Chairperson of the Small Firm Task Force Committee of the Center for Audit Quality, a two time past member of the SEC Regulations Committee, past member of the Auditing Standards Board and past Chairperson of their Other Information Task Force, past Chairperson of the Maryland State Board of Public Accountancy, a two time past member of the Standing Advisory Group of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, and a past member of the Center for Audit Quality’s Professional Practice Executive Committee.
