Maura Gillespie

A proud New Jersey native, Maura Gillespie is an established communications professional with over 12 years of experience building bridges between elected officials and their constituents. She co-founded a political movement with over 250,000 active members nationwide and is a recurring guest on national news outlets. Throughout her career, Maura has worked with a broad array of producers, campaign consultants, advocacy organizations, and others to help tell the stories of those who need it most. Whether through crisis communications management or brand awareness, Maura has been successful in developing and executing strategic communications plans for two high-profile Members of Congress. As Deputy Chief of Staff, she helped build a national profile for Congressman Adam Kinzinger and expanded his reach exponentially. Prior to that, she served as Press Advisor to former Speaker of the House John Boehner where she gained valuable experience in what it means to lead when the stakes are high, advising our nation's top leaders. After leaving Capitol Hill, Maura established Bluestack Strategies to help others navigate the nuances of strategic communications through storytelling and media engagement.
