All successfully executed retail automotive dealership transactions begin with a motivated and/or willing buyer and seller. This session will focus on the critical transaction metrics to bring a dealership sale to a successful settlement. Topics will include:
• How planing prior to entering into the transaction process will lead to a successful sale of the dealership(s)
• Why selecting the proper team to participate in the transaction process is critical to executing a transaction
• Strategies to showcase the assets being sold to maximize value and navigating around common potholes encountered by sellers
• Seller’s tactics to being in control of the transaction and how to increase the buyer’s confidence throughout the transaction process
