Health and Welfare (H&W) Plan Audits are a specialized area in EBP audits. For effectively auditing any H&W plan, it is critical to understand the structure of the plan being audited as to what benefits it cover, how those benefits are covered, what are the mechanics of the plan, are the benefits self-funded / unfunded / fully insured/ partially insured etc.
