Keeping Pace with the Regulatory Onslaught

Date
October 21, 2011

Auto and truck dealerships today are subject to numerous federal regulatory compliance duties, including many that did not exist even ten years ago. As challenging as these mandates are, dealerships must be prepared to absorb even more duties in the years ahead. Keeping pace in this environment requires compliance professionals to stay abreast of existing regulatory mandates as well as with those that are on the horizon.

This session will survey:

  • Recent federal duties in the credit and privacy arena, including several less publicized obligations
  • Upcoming federal duties that stem from the comprehensive Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010
  • Other pressing regulatory issues that NADA is tracking
