Date
October 18, 2013

Automotive dealers are among the most regulated businesses in the United States. The dark side (state and federal regulators, the plaintiffs' bar and the media) have a constant and vigilant eye on the sales and F&I processes and managers. In this session, nationally recognized F&I and Sales compliance consultant Gil Van Over will share how we got here and what at least a third of the nation's top fifty dealer groups have implemented to help mitigate the potential compliance risk. He will share ideas that you can take back to your dealerships or clients to help improve the compliance quotient. Areas to be covered include the theory of disparate impact and how to establish compliant desking processes, identity theft detection and prevention, policies and procedures, Truth in Lending and Truth in Leasing issues and bank fraud.
