Best Practices in Time and Billing Techniques in an FVS Practice

Date
November 12, 2012

Join this interactive session on the do’s and don’ts of time and billing, and where problems are created. Come with
questions and comments that can be explored together.

This session will address:
  • Do your retainer agreements protect your fees and are your billing practices in conformity with these agreements?
  • Should you flat fee or bill by the hour? Does it matter what type of project it is?
  • Should you prepare summary invoices or detailed invoices? If detailed, will you get in trouble because of careless descriptions and billing practices?
  • Write offs and realization: Do your employees have goals and are they meeting them? Should they have hourly goals?
