Willie Pest is a senior managing director in the FSR Group based in New York. FSR focuses on the origination, financing, valuation, risk management, and financial and tax reporting of financial instruments, structured products and real estate. Willie has responsibility for a diverse array of initiatives including valuation review services for a wide spectrum of asset types, including those typically not covered by third party pricing vendors. Willie is deeply involved with the enhancement of valuation related reporting and analytical tools used by audit teams, development of innovative valuation analytics for clients and audit teams, and organizational structure review, development and implementation.

Prior to joining PwC in 2012, Willie spent 25 years at several leading tier global investment banks, Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley, and Credit Suisse respectively, in various executive level product control, valuation and accounting related capacities. Willie’s roles at Credit Suisse included global head of Product Control and Valuation review for structured products including residential mortgage, commercial mortgage, CDO, and asset backed bonds, loans and derivatives, U.S. middle office, and U.S. mortgage loan operations. He also led an investment bank business activity focused US GAAP vs IFRS GAAP accounting project for the bank with major emphasis on reporting, accounting, and technology implications. Willie holds a BBA in Business Administration with an Accounting major from Bernard Baruch College.
