William C. Dameworth is a managing member and the member in charge of valuation services at Forensic Strategic Solutions, LLC. A specialist in litigated business valuation, Mr. Dameworth’s extensive business valuation and litigation consulting experience includes services in over 500 engagements for a wide variety of purposes, including gift, estate, family law matters, shareholder disputes, shareholder buyouts, buy/sell agreements, charitable contributions, purchase price allocation, goodwill impairment testing, intangible asset valuation, mergers and acquisitions, ESOPs, business damages, asset tracing, and active/passive appreciation analysis. These services have been related to corporations, partnerships, proprietorships and limited liability companies across the manufacturing, wholesale, retail and service sectors. Mr. Dameworth has served as an expert witness in federal and state courts for plaintiffs, defendants and mutual. Mr. Dameworth formerly served as a Managing Director of ComStock Advisors, and senior manager and director of the Business Valuation and Litigation Services Group of Dixon Odom PLLC (now Dixon Hughes Goodman). Mr. Dameworth’s career began in banking where he developed substantial experience in industry and economic analysis, and financial forecasting and modeling during tenures as a commercial lending officer and bank credit officer. He has also practiced in public accounting providing traditional accounting, audit and tax services for a diverse group of business and individual clients.
