Warren Braunig is a partner at Keker & Van Nest LLP in San Francisco. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, ranging from trade secrets and trademark law to adaministrative law to consumer class actions and contract disputes. His clients have included Google, Taiwan Semiconductor, Electronic Arts, Southern Wine & Spirits of America Lam Research Corp., and the San Diego County Water Authority. Mr. Braunig has also represented individuals under investigation or indictment in both state and federal court.

Mr. Braunig was trial counsel for the San Diego County Water Authority in its recent, successful challenge to unlawful rates set by the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. He was also part of the team that won a trial victory for Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company in one of the largest trade secrets cases in California history, resulting in a settlement for TSMC publicly valued at more than $300 million. He recently represented Electronic Arts in the groundbreaking In re NCAA Name & Likeness Litigation, in which former student athletes alleged that EA, and the NCAA, improperly used their name and likeness in video games.

Mr. Braunig takes a particular interest in economics and damages-related issues. Prior to law school, he worked as a management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton (now Booz & Co.) and as a product manager in the software industry. He counts himself among that small class of attorneys who are not afraid of Microsoft Excel. Mr. Braunig holds a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and a J.D. from New York University. He lives with his wife and two young children in San Francisco.
