Vivien Wulff is a chartered accountant, a certified management consultant, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
Vivien is the Chief Operating Officer for the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry (FOMD) at the University of Alberta. FOMD is one of the top 50’ Clinical and Pre-clinical Health’ schools worldwide and is third in Canada in terms of medical research intensity. Today, the FOMD offers six undergraduate degrees, three diplomas, 55 medical residencies, 17 PhD and 13 master’s programs. It is home to more than 2,500 learners, 700 full-time and 1,300 part-time faculty members and 1,200 support staff, generating an annual economic impact of $2.0 billion.
Vivien has held senior leadership positions as VP Finance, Corporate Secretary and Controller for publicly-traded organizations in the pharmaceutical and mining industries as well as a municipal and provincial-governed event and facility management sports and gaming organization.
Vivien is an active volunteer, having held director and officer positions on not-for-profit boards such as the Alberta Capital Region United Way. She participates in Rotary international global health projects and is a charter member of the CPA of Canada’s Women’s Leadership Council. In 2010, Vivien was awarded a Distinguished Service Award by the Alberta Institute of Charted Accountants.
