Vishal Majithia

Vishal Majithia joined Prudential in September 2014 as an Audit Manager and is presently the Director of Data Analytics within Prudential’s Internal Audit Department. He is currently assisting the Vice President of the Operations, Risk and Technology group who is leading the data analytics strategy as part of a Department-wide “Transformation Initiative”. His background includes broad experience in the area of Data Analytics and Business/Process performance improvement across various business areas: such as Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Operations, Information Technology, etc.

Prior to joining Prudential, Vishal worked at two top accounting firms (PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young) among other major companies and facilitated numerous training classes across all levels of management. He has assisted major national and multinational clients across various industries and supported key audit and non-audit clients with regulatory and non-regulatory Data Analysis work, which facilitated decision making within financial systems audits, fraud investigation and analysis (specifically SAS99), litigation support, system upgrades, mergers and acquisitions, carve-outs, corporate re-organizations and other data intensive projects.

Vishal has a BS in Finance and Computer Information Systems from Rutgers University and holds following certifications: Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), ACL Certified Data Analyst (ACDA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA).
