Tanya Medgaarden CPA

Tanya Medgaarden is a principal in the Financial Institutions-Credit Union group at CLA. She has been providing services to credit unions for over 14 years. Her specialties include audit and supervisory/audit committee agreed-upon procedure engagements, GAAP and GAAS issues related to credit unions, supervisory/audit committee issues, ACH audits, and review and evaluation of internal audit functions. Tanya also coordinates ongoing technical updates to our audit binder and financial statement templates. In addition, she serves as the COO of the Upper Midwest credit union group. She has made numerous presentations to credit union boards, supervisory/audit committees and management on a variety of accounting and credit union issues. Tanya graduated Summa Cum Laude with bachelors of science degrees in accounting and business administration-finance concentration from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA).
