Susan K. Thompson CPA, CFF

Susan Thompson is a partner in the Forensic and Financial Consulting Services Group at Hemming Morse, possessing 30 years of experience in auditing and litigation services. Susan's litigation accounting experience includes assistance in various forms of business litigation, professional liability litigation, white-collar crime, investigations of property and casualty insurance fraud claims, fraud investigation and money laundering. She has assisted clients in many areas of the litigation process, including discovery requests, estimation of damages, preparation of trial exhibits, the presentation at trial of complex matters and presentation at appraisals and mediations. Susan is also experienced in internal control reviews and has served as an umpire in an insurance company appraisal. Prior to joining Hemming Morse, Susan worked with both a Big Four and a regional CPA firm, auditing commercial and not-for-profit entities in a variety of industries, including real estate, agriculture, healthcare and high-technology manufacturing. She also served as an interim controller for a regional airline. Susan has testified in deposition and trial in both state and federal court as an expert witness.
