Susan H. Seabury JD

Susan H. Seabury has over 20 years of experience in financial, forensic, and legal matters, including the preparation of financial analyses and reports on an array of bankruptcy, insolvency, and forensic issues. She has provided financial advisory services to numerous constituencies, including debtors, creditors’ committees, bondholders, secured creditors, and purchasers. Ms. Seabury has provided services relating to expert testimony on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants in multi-billion dollar litigation. She has also served as a mediator in highly complex commercial matters and inter-creditor disputes.

Seabury has written several articles and books on the role of financial experts in bankruptcy as well as the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act. She is a contributing author to Norton Bankruptcy Law and Practice (3d Ed.) and the Bloomberg Law: Bankruptcy Law Treatise. She has served as a guest lecturer at Georgia State University, New York Law School, and the University of Georgia School of Law. Further, Ms. Seabury has acted as a guest lecturer on terrorism at the Alabama Chapter of the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) and the Metropolitan Police Executives’ Association and on cultural and legal issues for US Central Command and US Special Operations Command, Tampa, Florida.

Ms. Seabury received her B.A. in economics from Vanderbilt University, her M.B.A. from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University, and her J.D. cum laude from Georgia State University College of Law. She is a member of the Georgia Bar Association and the bars for the United States District Court for the Northern District Georgia, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She is also a member of the Atlanta Bar, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the International Women in Restructuring Confederation.
