Sue Lieberum CPA

Susan Lieberum is an Associate Director of the AICPA Peer Review Program. In 2003, she joined the AICPA peer review team as a technical manager and staff liaison to the Education and Communication Task Force. In her current role, her overall peer review responsibilities involve compliance, oversight and regulatory assistance. She is involved in overseeing the enhanced oversights, firm and reviewer performance, providing consultation on complex peer review matters, and assisting state boards of accountancy with drafting legislation. Susan is a member of the AICPA and North Carolina Association of CPA’s. She is licensed as a CPA in North Carolina. She has been in the profession for more than twenty years between public accounting and private industry. Prior to joining the AICPA, she worked for a large regional New Jersey based CPA firm. A native of New Jersey, Susan received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rutgers University and Master of Science in Taxation from Seton Hall University. She currently resides in Pittsboro, NC.
