Steve Stang CPA

Steve is a partner in CliftonLarsonAllen’s Charlotte office with over 23 years of experience.  He is a member of CliftonLarsonAllen’s National Health Care Practice Leaders, and currently serves as the firm’s Health Care Assurance Services Leader. Steve has served in a variety of leadership roles during his career with CliftonLarsonAllen including, hospitals and health systems national practice leader, southeast health care practice leader, and the healthcare learning & development  and operational excellence committees leader.   Steve is currently serving a three-year term on the AICPA’s Health Care Expert Panel. In this role, Steve helps voice the health care industry’s views to the standard setting bodies, as well as provides technical guidance and assistance to health care providers.  He has extensive experience in auditing a variety of health care providers, including hospitals and health systems, senior living organizations, and home health and hospice providers. Steve has prepared projections and forecasts, transactional due diligence reviews, and tax-exempt bond offerings for the firm’s health care clients. He is a member of the Health Care Financial Management Association, where he is a past Board member of the North Carolina Chapter.
