Stephen P. Valenti, CPA, practices for his own account and is a Professor of Accounting and Finance at New York University. Steve was the 2012 Recipient of the New York State Society of CPAs Distinguished Service Award. He is a popular speaker and past recipient of the NYSSCPA FAEs Outstanding Discussion Leader award. Steve is a previously served as a Vice-President of the New York State Society of CPAs and is a past Chair of the NYSSCPA Tax Division Oversight (Executive) Committee. Steve serves on the AICPAs Tax Education Task Force and the AICPA IRS Practice & Procedures Committee.
