Stephen Bodine CPA

Stephen Bodine is an audit and accounting principal with CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) with over 30 years of public accounting experience. Mr. Bodine is a past member of the Private Company Financial Reporting Committee, a joint committee of the FASB and the AICPA. This committee was formed to improve the FASB’s standard-setting process to consider the needs of private companies. He is also a past chair of the Technical Issues Committee of the AICPA, monitoring proposed standards in order to provide comments to various standard setting bodies on behalf of the Private Companies Practice Section (PCPS). He has also served on the Emerging Issues Task Force of the FASB. Through the AICPA, he has served on the Council, PCPS Executive Committee, and Risk Task Force, and he has served in numerous roles with the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA), including chair. Mr. Bodine frequently speaks both nationally on various audit and accounting topics and internally at CLA, and has been published in numerous accounting industry publications. He earned his BS in Accounting from Minnesota state - Mankato.
