Stephanie brings more than two decades of financial services expertise to her role as Vice President of Care.com HomePay. She founded Breedlove & Associates in 1992 to help families handle the tax and legal obligations that come with employing a caregiver in the home – and has since become the nation’s foremost expert on the exceptions, exemptions and nuances of household employment.
Co-Author of The Household Employer’s Financial, Legal & HR Guide, Stephanie has dedicated her career to education on this complex topic. She has been a featured expert on dozens of TV and radio shows as well as in business and consumer publications.
Stephanie holds a BBA in finance from the University of Texas (1987) and an MBA with a concentration in tax and marketing from the University of Houston (1988). In addition to her role as Treasurer on the board of the International Nanny Association and regular advisor/speaker for the Association of Premier Nanny Agencies, Stephanie has served as a consultant for countless agency owners and been an active member of the American Payroll Association, Domestic Estate Managers Association and Chamber of Commerce.
