Stacy Feiner

For more than 15 years, Dr. Stacy Feiner has been helping business leaders take deliberate steps to improve their performance and advance their organizations. Stacy has devoted her professional career to understanding and positively impacting complex systems in a wide-range of organizations, such as corporations, family enterprises, academic institutions, medical facilities and professional services firms. Stacy’s powerful set of experiences as a clinical psychologist, corporate leader and business advisor serves to enhance the thinking and decision-making of leaders through critical business transitions.  Stacy takes executives, business owners and stakeholder teams through critical phases of leadership and organizational transitions with a framework that make change possible. She advises business owners, corporate executives and family offices on succession planning, executive development and organizational effectiveness. Her methodology addresses the critical milestones of each business phase within any business, and has particular application for private ventures with owners who have an innate restlessness that continuously pushes them to achieve at their highest level. In her role, Stacy is dedicated to advancing her clients’ ability to fulfill their most important ambitions and sustain their most enduring relationships.   In addition, Stacy facilitates family retreats, board meetings and advisor meetings to improve the circulation of ideas, the quality of decision-making and accountability. The goal is to help privately-held and family-owned businesses move successfully through continuous transitions, both within the business as well as within the family. Stacy’s knowledge and experiences make her uniquely suited to partner with professional advisors whose work with clients involves complex family dynamics and enduring family relationship.  Stacy earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School for Professional Psychology. She also holds a Master of Science degree from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hobart & William Smith Colleges. She is a licensed psychologist and formerly a registered financial advisor (SEC Series 7 & 66). Stacy trained under the direct mentorship of Léon Danco, pioneer of continuity planning for family-owned businesses. She currently heads the Executive Coaching and Leadership Development practice at SS&G Parkland, a management consulting firm geared to Middle Market. Stacy is a life-long learner of human behavior. She has lived and worked internationally, commits time to land conservancy, contributes to research projects and publishes in the fields of psychology and business leadership. Stacy speaks nationally on the topics of leadership, family business dynamics, exit planning, and succession management.
