Soma has more than fifteen years of experience providing accounting, auditing, and financial reporting services to organizations within various industries, including manufacturing and distribution, and technology service providers. She is a part of Plante Moran's Professional Standards Group, her major focus areas being audit methodology, internal controls, and emerging technology impacting audit and accounting. She also serves as the Technical Leader of Plante Moran's SOC practice. She is involved with several organizations in matters related to SOC and distributed ledger technology.
