Shelley is a Partner in the Vancouver office of Deloitte. She has over 30 years’ experience in public practice and is responsible for a number of the major audit clients.
Shelley started her career in public practice in Calgary working largely in the energy sector with oil and gas companies and also with technology companies. In 1988, Shelley transferred back to Saskatoon and continued to work with mining and technology companies in Saskatchewan. In 2011 Shelley transferred to Vancouver where she currently provides Assurance and Advisory services to a number of public mining companies in Vancouver.
Shelley served on the Board of Directors of Deloitte Canada for eight years and she currently serves as the Chair of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and Co-Chair of CPA Canada. She was also named in 2009 and 2012 as one of Canada’s “Most Powerful Women” by the Women’s Executive Network (WXN). Also in 2013 Shelley was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from Women in Finance in Vancouver.
