Sharon Boyd obtained her undergraduate degree in accounting from College of Charleston and an MBA from University of Texas at Dallas. Her work history includes various Internal Audit Positions of Varying Levels at jcpenney 1994-2001, various positions in Controllers Department 2001-present. Notable accomplishments include key role in implementing and then leading the Sarbanes-Oxley 404 efforts at J.C. Penney (2004-2008). For the last 4 years, Sharon has worked in Benefits Controllers performing general accounting, development of plans’ financial statements and managing related external audits, overseeing transfers of funding to the benefit plans’ trusts and coordinating various government filings.
