Scott R. Konrad is a senior vice president with HUB International and leads an enterprise-wide specialty practice that helps nearly 23,000 charitable organizations to surmount their most pressing risk management, insurance, and human capital challenges and accounts for over $1.8 billion in annual premiums placed into the global marketplace.
A 47-year industry veteran whose resume has included claims, sales, executive stewardship, and operational leadership roles with global brokers Johnson & Higgins, Marsh, and Willis, and with the Episcopal Church’s denominational insurance facility, Scott has devoted the past half of his career to advocating for nonprofit organizations and is deeply engaged throughout the sector.
Scott is a graduate of Colgate University, a seven-time honoree as Power Broker® to the Nonprofit sector (Risk & Insurance), three-time honoree as a “Top 100” insurance executive to watch (Insurance Business America), and a nationally-recognized author and speaker on nonprofit risk management themes. He is accredited in Risk Management for Churches & Schools by the University of Cambridge (UK) and brings an 'insider' perspective to his work as a servant leader of civic, professional, and religious nonprofit organizations, including the Corporate Advisory Council of the Nonprofit Risk Management Center and the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut.
