Sarah Kahl Esq.

Sarah Kahl is Counsel at Venable LLP in the law firm's Tax and Wealth Planning Group. She focuses her practice on tax and estate planning for individuals and families. She also represents fiduciaries and beneficiaries on the proper administration of a trust, and in particular, trust modification. She is licensed in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Ms. Kahl started her career as a CPA in an audit practice and then decided to focus her attention on tax planning by attending Georgetown University Law Center, where she graduated, cum laude, in 2004. She is active on the Maryland State Bar Association's Trust and Estates Section Council, and she chairs the AICPA's Northeast Networking Group for Personal Financial Planning. She is listed as a Rising Star under the 2017 edition of Maryland Super Lawyers and a recipient of the Daily Record's Leading Women award for 2016.
