Russell Harder CIA, CISA, CFE

Russell Harder is a Managing Director in Deloitte's internal audit practice and has over 22 years experience in conducting internal audits both domestically and internationally. He has conducted Enterprise Risk Assessments, developed and executed internal audit plans and developed on-going monitoring programs. He regularly presents to senior management and board members the results of the various internal audits and projects conducted along with insight and perspective as to which risk areas on which to focus mitigating strategies in a reasonable and practical manner. Russell has conducted multiple fraud investigations as well as External Quality Review Assessments of internal audit functions, providing insight on leading practices, adherence to established standards and guidelines as well as qualitative and quantitative benchmarking metrics as organizations seek the optimal balance of governance and controls and acceptable risk appetite. Russell is a CPA, CIA, CISA and CFE and graduated from the University of Calgary with an accounting degree.
