Richard J. Locastro, CPA, JD is a partner with GRF CPAs & Advisors (formerly Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman CPAs), where he oversees the firm's team of tax professionals who provide consulting and tax compliance services to more than 600 nonprofit organizations annually. He coordinates tax planning and consulting services, including return preparation and representation on IRS audits. He has over 30 years of experience providing tax services to nonprofits.
Mr. Locastro frequently speaks at national, regional and local conferences, including the AICPA Not-for- Profit Industry Conference. He is a past chair of the AICPA Technical Resource Panel for Exempt Organizations, on which he has served as a member since 2012 and is a member of the AICPA Not-for-Profit Industry Conference steering committee. In 2025, he joined the AICPA Not-for-Profit Advisory Council.
He has a B.S. in Accounting from Le Moyne College and a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law. Richard is the past Chair of the Board of Regents for Le Moyne College and is as a current member of its Board of Trustees.
