Rebecca Clark

Regional Enforcement Coordinator, US DOL, Wage Hour Division

A native of Granite Bay, California, Rebecca Clark graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1997 with a BA in Political Science. She started with the Department of Labor in October of 1997. During her 17 year tenure with the Department of Labor, Becky has worked in many capacities. She spent 7 years as an Investigator in the San Francisco District Office of the Wage and Hour Division, serving in such roles as the Child Labor, Human Trafficking, and Family Medical Leave Act Coordinator. Becky then went to the Divisions Regional Office, spending 2 years as the Government Contracts Specialist supporting the Regional Wage Specialist in both wage surveys and enforcement actions for government contracts. In 2009 Becky assumed the position of Regional Enforcement Coordinator for Government Contracts. Her responsibilities include planning the enforcement program for all government contract statutes including the Davis Bacon Act and Related Acts, the Service Contract Act, Contract Work Hours Safety Standards Act, and Executive Orders 13495 and 13658 for the 8 western states and the territories in the pacific. In the Summer of 2013 Becky was detailed to Divisions National Office in DC to serve as the Senior Policy Advisor for Davis Bacon and to support Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts. Professionally, she spends 85% of her time on the road and has been to Guam 5 times. Becky is most comfortable in flip flops or steel toed boots and has a passion for all things Davis Bacon. When not traveling for work, Becky lives in San Franciscos Haight Ashbury neighborhood and is a certified yoga teacher -as required by city and county ordinance.
