Rand is a Director in PricewaterhouseCoopers' Forensic Advisory Services Practice. He is an information technology consultant with over 20 years of experience specializing in the modelling, construction and implementation of information technology systems for forensic investigations, cybercrime, compliance programs, litigations, e-Discovery and information risk management. He has provided expert witness testimony in computer related matters and leads the Texas PwC Advisory practice on information technology related issues.

Rands expertise includes providing process and technology consultation across various industries in both preparing for and responding to unplanned events with legal, regulatory and compliance aspects. Rand has extensive experience in information risk management, responding to cyber events, developing policy and deploying technology across organizations that assist the legal, IT and compliance functions in reducing cost and risk.

Rand has directed and managed numerous large-scale information risk management and cyber breaches in the financial, healthcare, and oil and gas industries. He has coordinated the technology component of information identification, collection, analysis and review for matters in over 50 countries spanning a wide range of information systems from laptop computers and e-Mail to enterprise-wide information technology systems such as SAP, Oracle Financials and PeopleSoft.
