Peter Stoyas

Pete Stoyas, Managing Director, is Head of the Data Analytics & Innovation function, supporting all Internal Audit teams.

Pete joined Morgan Stanley’s Internal Audit Department in 2021 and has 24 years of experience in technology auditing and data analytics, including 16 years in the financial services industry. During his tenure with Morgan Stanley Internal Audit, Pete previously covered Wealth Management Technology.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Pete worked for E*TRADE in Arlington, VA as a Managing Director, where he was the Head of Technology Audit & Data Analytics. Prior to that, Pete spent9 years with Fannie Mae as Head of Technology Audit & Data Analytics.

Pete began his career working in various audit-related positions across several industries including, Ernst & Young LLP within their Information Security Assurance & Advisory Services group, Cable & Wireless Global Internal Audit, and Harman International Industries Internal Audit.

He graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Concentration in Computer Information Systems. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Internal Auditor, and Information Systems Auditor.
