Peter E. Ford is a Senior Counsel with Income Tax & Accounting, Branch 1, specializing in general income recognition and the timing of deductions. Peter received a B.S. in Business from Indiana University of Pennsylvania; M.S. in Management from Purdue University; M.P.M from Carnegie Mellon University; a J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law; and an LL.M. (Taxation) from Georgetown University Law Center. Prior to joining Chief Counsel, Peter worked in the national office of a Big 4 accounting firm. Peter has also served as an adjunct professor at University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business and at Johns Hopkins University's Carey School of Business.
