Peter DelVecchia is a Senior Technical Manager at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Durham, NC. His primary responsibility is to oversee the activities of the AICPA Professional Ethics Division’s activities with respect to cases involving the preparation or audit, review or compilation of financial statements that do not comply with professional standards.
Prior to joining the AICPA staff in 1999, Peter was a Chief Financial Officer for a private emerging company and for an international diamond cutter/wholesaler. He was in public accounting practice for twelve years, principally in a large regional firm. Peter is a graduate of Long Island University.
