Paul L. Posner is the Director of the Public Administration Program at George Mason University. He serves as a consultant on national budgeting, public management and federalism issues for the OECD, IMF, The Peterson-Pew Commission on Budget Reform, and served as a member of the Fiscal Futures panel convened by the National Academy of Sciences to assess the long term fiscal outlook facing the United States. Before his current position, he was with the GAO, leading their work on federal budgeting and intergovernmental management for 14 years.
